I love the cinema. One doesn’t need to love the cinema to be a colorist, but it doesn’t hurt. I went to film school, sure, but my devotion began in high school when my french teacher took me to see Hiroshima Mon Amour by Alain Resnais at a film society screening. I was too immature to understand the movie, but I knew the director cared enough about me to tell me the truth. That fact got through to me. Ever since that night, I wanted to help do that for others, others who might not have someone in their lives to tell them the truth. Although I believe that there is only one truth, I also believe that there are as many ways to express it as there are filmmakers who care about expressing it.

I get to work on moving pictures on a daily basis, and that makes me happy. If I can help you realize your dream then I would like to do that.

I’ve been color-grading since 2010. I have my own ideas about it and they are not the conventional Hollywood ideas, although I can work within those conventions if necessary. Get in touch with me and we can see if my ideas line up with your needs and wishes for your project.

I am very indie-filmmaker-friendly. I like working with novices and first-time filmmakers. But I can do without dilettantes. I am serious about my work, and reliable, and I believe in professional integrity. I enjoy working with clients who have the same approach to their work. I work with professionals and colleagues from all over the world, helping cinematic dreams to come true.
